Prime Minister Narendra Modi distributed over 51,000 appointment letters to newly selected candidates for various central government roles, including the Railways, Income Tax Department, Home Ministry, Postal Services, and the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs). In his virtual address, the Prime Minister reaffirmed the government’s commitment to merit-based, transparent recruitment, emphasizing the principle of “Bina Parchi, Bina Kharchi” (No bribes, no favoritism). This Rozgar Mela forms part of the larger goal of providing 10 lakh government jobs, aimed especially at youth from tier 2 and tier 3 cities. Alongside the appointments, new digital job platforms and skill-building initiatives were also introduced to ensure smoother onboarding and future readiness. The event reflects the Centre’s broader employment strategy tied to Skill India, Make in India, and Digital India missions.
